Newport Hills Fire Damage

Due to a stove top grease fire in one unit and the associated heat and smoke that affected the adjoining three units, McLeod Construction was dispatched to secure the building and contracted to perform the demolition which included asbestos abatement and the handling of lead based paint. McLeod worked with the unit owners, property management and the insurance adjuster to remediate the damages, bringing it back better than before the damage. Repairs included a complete rebuild and restoration form the framing in of the originating unit and the common laundry area. Exterior framing, siding, windows, doors and painting. Smoke damage was also addressed by McLeod in the attic space and additional unit interiors.
